Antique Edwardian Ring Emeralds Diamonds 14k Chased Gold w Certificate (6117). This product data sheet is originally written in English. 14k gold, emeralds and diamonds. Measurements: US size 6.25. Bezel is a rectangle with slightly rounded corners, rising towards the center. Emerald cut emerald in the center has a lovely bright green color and lots of gleam and depth. Surrounded by a gold border and then a ring of diamonds followed by a silver border and ring of emeralds, tightly set in an invisible setting. The mount is also quite beautiful with chased and engraved scrolls covering the entire gold surface. The hoop is also in openwork gold scrolling patterns.
Attention and care lavished to the part of the ring that are seldom if ever seen, indicate the highest quality workmanship and a craftsman who took tremendous pride in his work. Very beautiful workmanship - see well-matched emeralds, calibre cut and invisibly set as well as fine work of diamonds and filigree sterling silver. Marks: slightly worn 14k inside shank - could be a later mark. Metals were acid tested to ensure purity.
