ANTIQUE ENGLISH 18K GOLD NEO-EGYPTIAN NATURAL PEARL RING with CERTIFICATE c1880

An incredible antique English Egyptian-revival ring; beautifully made from solid 18 carat gold, with fully round cross section and gold wire shoulders, it's set with a stunning captive, drilled natural saltwater pearl - of cream colour and very good lustre, it comes complete with a recently dated GCS certificate. It dates from around 1880 and is in excellent, fully wearable condition throughout, with no loss or damage. There are a couple of lines visible to the surface of the skin but these are natural and part of its structure. The back of the band shows a visible resizing. It weighs 2.4 grams, the pearl measures 5.5 mm in diameter and its ring size is 7.5 US / O ½ UK - resizeable if needed.
