Space Ghost #1 CBCS 6.0 SS by George Lowe (1967 Gold Key not CGC) 1st Appearance. One of the more "interesting books" I've owned.

Space Ghost #1, Gold Key 1967, 1st appearance in comics... CBCS 6.0, with a 2x CBCS witnessed signatures and, ahem, comments from George Lowe. And, here is where it gets interesting lol....

If you don't know, George Lowe was the voice of Space Ghost in the "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" series. The animated show ran for 11 seasons (108 episodes) - best known as part of Cartoon Network / Adult Swim block of shows from the mid 1990s to early 2000s. A late night, muchie-fueled tradition for many teens and younger adults of that era. George signed this copy of issue #1 on the front and the back...

And, well, added some "commentary"? On the front - where the book reads "FISTS PACKED WITH ELECTRONIC FORCE", it appears George added and enema creme! And, on the back he offered up some advice - snack tip: veal panties! That's what it says lol. I'm not the original owner so can't offer much here in terms of background, etc.

But clearly a unique collectable. So - a book that may not be for everyone.... But for a certain set of collectors - this may be THE book you didn't know you needed in your collection.

These are flimsy construction - the sides flex - so if you've not seen one, just know that this is normal.
